This colour wheel is key when using composition in your images. Within the wheel yellow and oranges are classed at warm colours and best used in small doses. Red should be used carefully as it can have strong positive or negative feeling to them as it can signify love but also anger.Blue is also used to signify a sense of calm and relaxation. You must use primary colours if you want to make a statement as these are bright and stand out and are strong blocked colours.

Here  i did some work using filters mainly the red filter within my camera this helped when shooting black and white as it made the leaves or any greeny yellow tones darker.  This really brought out more detail in my images such as with images of the water where the  railings are out of focus these show great detail. The red filter is use to make eye catching images and tends to make blues look black. I also used the green filter in some of my photos this is good for landscape photography as this separates the green from bright colours also when using this in  landscapes it brings out the grass and trees. This also brightens the sky however this may mean you loose detail in the sky. This was my first time using filters and i think i was successful when doing so as i got the results i wanted i like how much detail are within the images. The green filter did seem to make darker shadows in the photo which i think give the photos more depth. I also tried zoom burst when i was taking photos this is created by changing your focal length while the shutter is in action this creates a "burst" motion in your image. This is really good to use for abstract images. My first two attempts were over exposed so i needed to change the aperture of my image. This made my image look a lot better and created a lot more detail and a lot more effective.
