Health and safety when working with children within the studio

 Health and saftey when working with children in a studio and on location with studio lighting. 







1. Electrical equipment - Testing and inspection making sure all sockets are covered and cables are far away from children
2. Manual Handling - Movement of props making sure everything is safe
3. Housekeeping - Reducing slips, trips and falls so the child does not fall over or is hurt during the shoot.
4. Welfare - Temperatures, lighting - make sure all equipment is safe and not hot during shoot and kept way out of the way of children if it is
5. Fire - escape routes, extinguishers, training. - make sure all exits are clear and extinguishers are in reach.

6.  Supervision - make sure all children are supervised at all times
7. Overcrowding - There will be no more than 4 people in the studio during the shoot
8. Instructions - make sure all instructions are listened to during the shoot.
9. Check area for hazards when outside such as glass, nails and any that may cause injury.
10. Make sure when working with children you are not near any water or any where else that could be dangerous to children.
